• I’ve just got my GDA certificate, what do I do now? Nobody has told me!

    This is the question everyone asks us and it is a real shame that trainers don’t have to teach this in their Green Deal Advisor Training.

    You have to either join a Green Deal Advise Organisation or set up your own. If you want to create your own quality management system, arrange company certification, employ an independent quality auditor and arrange annual company audits and witnessed assessments you can but most people prefer to join us and let us do all that for you.

    We don’t charge to join and all you have to do is email us a colour copy of your GDA certificate, we then send you the application form.

  • How soon can I start doing assessments?

    It usually takes about a week, this is because once registered with us we have to add you to our certificate and GD-ORB will only accept updates on a Friday.  Once on our certificate we supply training on our quality management system together with all the documents you need to complete and lodge an assessment. You will need to register with Landmark and then we provide access details to the software and you now have everything needed to start assessments.

  • How much does it cost to join the GDAA?

    It is free to join the GDAA's GDAO and operate as an independent GDA.

  • How much does it cost to lodge a Green Deal Advice Report?

    Because we run the GDAA for the benefit of our members we strive to keep the lodgement fee as low as possible, the price is currently £22.00.

  • Can I lodge my EPSc with you?

    Yes, but you don’t have to. The Occupancy Assessment software we use accepts any lodged EPC into it. If you want to lodge your EPCs through us we are able to offer a special discounted rate to our members.

  • Do I need my own insurance?

    No, our per click lodgement fee included insurance for the production of the GDAR.

  • How do I join?

    You need to download and read our Code of Conduct before completing the joining form.
